Community Guidelines

To keep Boxnite fun and safe for everyone, the following rules apply to in-game chat, usernames, and our official Discord server. These guidelines complement the Terms of Use.

Prohibited Behavior

1. Toxic behavior

Insults, belittling, threats, deliberately provoking opponents or teammates ("tilting" them), and disrespectful communication in general are prohibited.

2. Cheating and unfair advantage

Cheat software, aimbot/wallhack-style tools, bots, macros, scripts, or any method that abuses unintended game behavior (exploiting) are prohibited.

3. Team sabotage

In team modes: deliberately killing teammates, stealing their resources/items, leaking their location to the enemy (stream sniping/ghosting included), or intentionally throwing the match (griefing) are prohibited.

4. Racism and hate speech

Any hate speech, discrimination, or use of symbols/imagery based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics is strictly prohibited.

5. Explicit / inappropriate content

Sexual content, excessively violent imagery, or unlawful/disturbing material is prohibited in usernames, chat, or shared links.

6. Spam and advertising

Repeated messages, irrelevant links, self-promotion, phishing links, or unauthorized promotion of third-party services/servers are prohibited.

What Happens If You Break These Rules?

Depending on the severity of the violation, we may issue a warning, temporary mute/removal, ejection from a room/match, or an account/IP-based permanent ban under the Terms of Use. These decisions fall under moderation discretion and may be applied without a stated reason.

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it to us via the Discord channel on the Contact page, including a screenshot and/or room code where possible.
